  I. Personal Reasons:

  1. Gas in the cylinder causes the working fluid to form a polyurethane elastomer. Solution: Check whether the suction line of the hydraulic pump has too small a diameter and ensure that the suction-line fittings are properly sealed to prevent air from being drawn into the pump.
 

  2. Excessive sealing friction; solution: select hydraulic cylinders and high‑precision components in accordance with H8/f8 tolerances, and manufacture sealing rings strictly according to the relevant standards. When choosing V‑type sealing rings, ensure that the sealing friction is adjusted to an appropriate level.

  3. The product exhibits significant damage, bruising, and bite marks at the drag‑on location.

  1. The bending stiffness of the actuating mechanism is very low, resulting in system flexibility. Solution: Appropriately increase the flexural rigidity of the relevant components to reduce deformation.

  3. In the relative velocity range, the difference between static friction and kinetic friction is substantial, meaning that the sliding friction force varies considerably.

  Pressure is one of the fundamental parameters of a hydraulic cylinder system; whether it remains within the normal range directly affects the system’s operational performance. Abnormal system pressure typically manifests as failure of the pressure‑regulating valve, loss of system pressure, complete absence of pressure, sustained high pressure, pressure that initially rises then falls, or unstable pressure.

  Once pressure anomalies occur, the system’s actuators can no longer perform their normal operating cycles; they may remain in their original positions, fail to operate, or experience a significant reduction in motion speed. During operation, the associated control valve assemblies often emit harsh, piercing noises, causing the machine to enter an abnormal state and degrading overall system performance.

  The causes of abnormal pressure lie in the hydraulic pump and motor, as well as in the hydraulic cylinder’s control valve. During operation, if the pressure fails to rise or fall, it is likely that the directional control valve has malfunctioned, resulting in continuous system relief or excessively high pressure.

  Clogging of the relief valve’s damping orifice, burrs on the main spool, contamination in the valve ports, and clearance between the spool and valve bore can all cause the main spool to become stuck in the fully open position. As a result, the hydraulic fluid discharged by the pump bypasses the load‑sensing circuit and returns directly to the reservoir via the relief valve, effectively shorting the pressure line to the return line and causing the system to lose pressure.

  There are other contributing factors as well: an excessively low hydraulic cylinder oil level, an undersized suction line, and blockages in the suction filter caused by contaminants and debris can all lead to excessive suction resistance in the hydraulic pump, resulting in insufficient system flow and low pressure. Additionally, if the return line is positioned above the oil level or the suction line has poor sealing, leaks may occur, allowing air to enter the system and causing unstable system pressure.
