Methods for Reducing Hydraulic Cylinder Operating Noise
1) The hydraulic cylinder’s filter is clogged with contaminants and can no longer perform its filtering function: remove the contaminants from the filter using clean flushing oil. 2) Insufficient oil level, excessively high suction position, or the suction pipe exposed above the oil surface: top up the oil to the specified level and lower the suction port. 3) No paper gaskets are installed between the pump body and pump cover on both sides; the pump body and cover are not properly sealed in a perpendicular relationship, allowing air to be drawn in during operation: install paper gaskets between the pump body and cover; grind the pump body on a flat plate using emery cloth to ensure that the perpendicularity error between the pump body and cover does not exceed 0.005 mm, then securely fasten the connection between the pump body and cover to prevent any leakage. 4) The drive shaft of the hydraulic cylinder is misaligned with the motor coupling, resulting in torsional friction: adjust the concentricity of the pump–motor coupling so that the deviation does not exceed 0.2 mm. 5) The meshing accuracy of the hydraulic cylinder gears is insufficient: re‑grind the gears to achieve proper gear engagement. 6) The oil seal skeleton on the hydraulic cylinder shaft has come loose, causing leakage: replace it with a qualified shaft oil seal.
1) The hydraulic cylinder’s filter is clogged with contaminants and can no longer perform its filtration function: Remove the contaminants from the filter using clean flushing oil.
2) Insufficient oil level, suction port too high, and the suction pipe exposed above the oil surface: Add oil to the oil dipstick mark and lower the suction port.
3) No paper gaskets are installed on either side of the pump body and pump cover; the pump body and pump cover are not sealed perpendicularly, resulting in air ingress during rotation. Install paper gaskets between the pump body and pump cover. Grind the pump body on a flat plate using emery cloth to ensure that the perpendicularity error between the pump body and pump cover does not exceed 0.005 mm. Secure the connection between the pump body and pump cover tightly, ensuring there is no leakage.
4) The drive shaft of the hydraulic cylinder is misaligned with the motor coupling, resulting in torsional friction: Adjust the concentricity of the pump–motor coupling so that the deviation does not exceed 0.2 mm.
5) Insufficient meshing accuracy of the hydraulic cylinder gears: grind the gears to achieve the required gear‑meshing precision.
6) The oil seal skeleton on the hydraulic cylinder rod has come loose, resulting in a leak at the pump body: Replace with a qualified pump‑shaft oil seal.
